Why Polar Bay Wines?

Polar Bay Wines has been serving the Waterdown area since 1997, and is Waterdown’s Only Award-Winning Personal Winery. We are locally owned and operated with strong ties to the community.

The original owner of Polar Bay Wines (our sister-in -law) had a deep passion for the wine making business and when the decision was made that it was time to look at other opportunities, she wanted to make sure that Polar Bay stayed in good hands with the same traditions she created. Lianne and I took over because we also have a passion for wine and great customer service.  We wanted to continue offering great wine making service to the community so as of May 1, 2012 I have made Polar Bay Wines my full time career. I want to ensure that your wine making experience is exceptional!

We are members of The Flamborough Chamber of Commerce and the CCWA (Canadian Craft Winemakers Assocation of Canada).

We offer the very best in wine kits through our long partnership with Vineco Wines.
